Privacy Policy
This policy describes data processing when visiting the static informational website humanitytracker.com.

2. Basic Principle
humanitytracker.com is a static informational website with interactive calculators and visualizations. The website may display advertising through Google AdSense. Google Analytics is not currently active. Personal entries in the calculator are not transmitted to the operator.
This privacy policy reflects the current implementation and does not replace legal advice.
3. Access Data, Hosting and CDN
When a website is opened, technically necessary access data is processed so that the page can be delivered to the browser and operated securely. This may include IP address, date and time, requested file, transferred data volume, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and status code.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure, stable and technically correct provision of the website. Recipients may include hosting providers, technical service providers and, where enabled, content delivery network infrastructure.
4. Consent Management
For advertising through Google AdSense, the website uses the Google CMP configured in the AdSense account (“European regulations message”). This consent prompt is provided by Google and manages ad consent for users in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
The former custom cookie banner of this website is no longer shown, so users do not see two parallel consent dialogs. The technical integration sets Google Consent Mode to denied by default and then loads the AdSense script so Google’s certified CMP can manage the required ad consent.
5. Service Categories
- Necessary: website delivery and security/server logs.
- Advertising: Google AdSense with consent management through Google’s CMP.
- Statistics: Google Analytics 4 is not currently active.
6. Google AdSense
This website is prepared to use Google AdSense. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may involve other Google group companies and service providers.
The AdSense script may be loaded so Google can provide AdSense features including the configured Google CMP. Google may process data such as IP address, device and browser information, page views, interactions, cookie or advertising IDs and approximate location information. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, prevent abuse, measure performance and, depending on consent and Google configuration, show personalized or non-personalized ads.
The legal basis for storing or reading non-essential information is consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, local ePrivacy/cookie laws. You may withdraw or change consent at any time with future effect through the consent interface provided by Google.
For users in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified Consent Management Platform with IAB Transparency & Consent Framework where required for ad serving. This website uses the Google CMP in the AdSense account for that purpose.
More information: Google Privacy Policy, Google advertising information.
7. Google Analytics and Traffic Measurement
Google Analytics 4 is not currently active. The former technical preparation has been removed so that no second consent interface is required alongside Google’s CMP. If Google Analytics is used again later, this privacy policy will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be configured.
Server-side hosting statistics or log file analysis may be used independently to understand page views, technical errors and abuse. This is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where necessary for operation, security and basic reach analysis.
8. Interactive Calculator
The calculator processes entries such as birth year, optional birth month and optional region locally in the browser. These entries are not transmitted to the operator and are not stored in a database.
9. International Transfers
When Google services are used, processing outside the EU/EEA, particularly in the United States, cannot be excluded. Google refers to appropriate safeguards and privacy frameworks. Details are available in Google's privacy information.
10. Retention
Server log files are deleted or anonymized according to the hosting provider's operating and security periods. Retention by Google follows Google's settings and policies.
11. Rights of Data Subjects
Under the GDPR, data subjects may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent.
12. Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For Lower Saxony, Germany, the competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.
13. Automated Decision-Making
The operator does not carry out automated decision-making including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Google may use its own procedures for ad delivery, abuse prevention and measurement within its services.
14. Status of this Privacy Policy
Status: 17 May 2026. This policy will be updated if advertising, analytics, consent management or external services change.
